We are excited to announce our involvement in an exciting
event happening very soon. Cutting Edge 2012 is a series of lectures which recognizes
exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 Games. Hosted by the
Royal Institute this is one of the outstanding projects granted the London 2012
Inspire mark and the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme, To launch the Cutting Edge 2012 series, an
event looking at a popular event basketball, both Olympic and Paralympic is
being held.
Featuring RGK Sports Mobility Advisor Colin
Price, a silver medal winning captain of Britain’s Wheelchair Basketball team in Atlanta 1996 and coach to
all levels of the game including junior wheelchair athletes. Colins RGK profile
can be found here. This event is an opportunity to question both the
cutting-edge researchers and high-achieving athletes. Hosted by Professor Steve
Haake, one of the UK’s top sports scientists, Professor Mike Caine will share
his expertise in combining human performance with sport and fitness equipment
innovation, specifically wheelchair design for Paralympics GB; Dr Maria
Kavussanu will explore morality in team sport, and why athletes engage in
cheating and Dr David James will lead discussions on how far research and new

line?
