Great Britain wins bronze medal at European Championships - 15.10.09

Great Britain has won a well deserved bronze medal at the European Wheelchair Basketball Championships by defeating a gritty Poland 73 - 65 in Adana, Turkey on 15th October.

The Snowdon Push Event - 24.05.08

The Snowdon Push Event took place on Saturday 24th May 2008. 17 teams took part in the event which saw them race up to the top of Snowdon and back down again. One member of each team was a wheelchair user with the rest pulling and pushing them to the top.

GB Stars at Mobility Roadshow 2007 - 09.08.07

The Mobility Roadshow took place in July at Kemble Airfield, nr Cirencester. The Mobility Roadshow is the world’s premier consumer event which showcases products and services to aid and improve personal mobility and promote an independent lifestyle. RGK exhibited at the show and also ran some basketball demos in the Sports Demo Area on all three days.

The Microsoft Challenge - 18.06.07

RGK have loaned a chair to Mo Simpson from Inverness, Scotland so that she can take part in the Microsoft Challenge, which takes places in Yorkshire from 20th ­ 24th June. The Microsoft Challenge is a multi-challenge event which takes place over four days and a large number of top companies takes part.

RGK Donate Chairs to The Wheel Thing - 22.03.07

The Wheel Thing was set up just over three years ago and is solely run by Sarah Piercy. The company specialises in disability awareness training. Sarah visits schools, universities, youth clubs, and most recently, a local police training centre. She gives able-bodied people the opportunity to try and experience what it is like to be in a wheelchair.
